Starting a Business, What is Most Important?
My dear friend Ethan Fialkow and I had a wide-ranging, long-lasting discussion about what is most important in starting a business. Our discussions focused on the errors committed every day by business owners, the errors in construction and commission, making their businesses vulnerable to any business shock.
We argued back and forth about what was most important. A hard look at different marketplaces and we came to the same conclusion. Before you even think of committing the errors of construction and commission, before you form your business, you must understand your market. If the market does not support your idea – why bother wasting money on a business name or forming an entity.
